DJ Services

How much does a wedding DJ cost?
A professional wedding DJ on the Front Range typically costs $1,200 to $2,500, depending on hours, guest count and whether you add ceremony sound, lighting or video. M3DIUM wedding packages start at $1,200 and include an MC and timeline coordination, with a custom quote within 24 hours.
Yes. Every DJ package includes MC duties and timeline coordination — announcements, introductions and cueing each moment so your grand entrance, toasts, first dance and send-off all land on time.
Absolutely. We build the night around your taste, with a planning questionnaire for must-plays, do-not-plays and special moments. We read the room live and take requests within your guidelines.

Yes. M3DIUM plays weddings, private parties, corporate events, clubs and festival stages — open-format to deep electronic — and we also produce our own series like House of Fire and Magic Portal Parties.

We offer dance-floor and uplighting as an add-on, scaled to your venue. Tell us the room and the vibe and we will spec a package, or fold it into a full production quote.

Sound Engineering

How much does a sound engineer cost?

A professional sound engineer typically runs $800 to $10,000 depending on event size, equipment and duration. Our Essential package starts at $800 for intimate events; full festival and conference production reaches $10,000, with a custom quote within 24 hours.

Renting a PA gives you the gear; an engineer brings the gear plus an expert who tunes the system to the room, mixes live and troubleshoots in real time — so your event sounds great from the first mic check to the last note.
Yes. We regularly engineer events that mix live bands, DJ sets and speakers, with multi-channel mixing and seamless transitions between performers.

Yes. We bring battery-capable PA and weather-ready gear, and we tune the system for open-air sites and altitude in the foothills and mountains, where sound disperses differently than indoors.

AV & Gear Rental

How much does it cost to rent PA gear?
Gear rental typically runs $300 to $4,000 depending on system size and add-ons. Our Small Space package starts at $300 for a speaker-and-mic setup; full outdoor and multi-zone systems reach $4,000.

Yes. Local delivery across Boulder and the Front Range is included, and setup, teardown and an on-site technician are optional add-ons. Local pickup is also available for DIY rentals.

Yes. Our Small Space package is built for exactly that — a powered speaker, a mic and a simple mixer for speeches, ceremonies or background music.

Every package ships complete: speakers, the mixer, all cabling, stands and DI boxes as needed, plus backup essentials. No mismatched adapters and nothing to source last minute.

Videography

What kinds of video do you produce?

Recap and highlight films, full-event coverage, multi-cam capture and live streaming for weddings, corporate conferences and festivals — often bundled with our sound and AV so it is one crew, one contact.

Yes. We run professional live streams to YouTube, Zoom or a private link, with clean program audio from the same engineer mixing the room — ideal for conferences, hybrid events and remote guests.

Turnaround depends on scope, but a highlight film typically arrives within a few weeks. We will give you a clear timeline in your quote and keep you posted through editing.

Booking & Pricing

How far in advance should I book?

For peak summer and fall Saturdays we recommend booking 6 to 12 months out. Popular Front Range dates fill first, so reach out early and we will hold your date while you decide.

Tell us your date, venue, guest count and what you need. We reply with a custom quote — usually within 24 hours — and refine it with you. No obligation and no pressure.

Yes, a deposit reserves your date and the balance is due before the event. Exact terms are in your quote and agreement, and we are happy to walk through them with you.

Yes — bundling is where we shine. One team and one contact for music, audio, AV and video usually costs less and runs smoother than coordinating separate vendors. Ask for a combined quote.

Logistics & Day-of

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Boulder and serve the entire Front Range — Denver, Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, Fort Collins, Loveland, Estes Park, Colorado Springs and the mountain towns. There is no travel fee for local Boulder-area events.

Very likely. We work venues across the region constantly, so we usually arrive knowing the room, the power, the load-in and any noise rules. If it is new to us, we coordinate with the venue ahead of time.

Every package includes backup gear and an engineer on-site who can swap and troubleshoot in real time, so the music and the mics keep running. Redundancy is built in, not an add-on.

It varies by package, but we typically arrive well before guests for load-in, setup and soundcheck. We will confirm timing and power needs with you and the venue in advance.
